HOW TO START AN ASSESSMENT

JUMP TO STEPS

An Assessment allows you to view your organization through the lens of The Praesidium Safety Equation® to identify any potential gaps that may exist in your organization’s abuse prevention practices.

Using current research and root-cause analyses of thousands of cases of abuse, Praesidium has identified best practices in each operation. These best practices make up the Praesidium Standards. In the Assessment, you'll find a total of 23 standards. These standards are designed for any consumer-serving organization. Each standard has components that need to be implemented to meet the standard. Components have specified criteria to identify a level of implementation.

The Assessment Process Consists of Five Parts:

Access to the Action Plan is based on permissions set by the Super Admin. Users with the
"Edit Assessment" permission will have the ability to take and edit an assessment.

Important Note:

Assessments completed at lower entities will have their results rolled up

to their parent entity (Tier 1).

Because of this, it is advised that you coordinate a plan to have your assessors (if any)

at lower-tier entities complete their assessments first.
